Things You’ll Need:
- Root-lifting mousse or spray
- Clip-in extensions (recommended)
- Heat protectant
- Comb
- 2-inch curling iron barrel
- Shine serum or oil
Step #1
Day old hair is ideal for this look. However, if you need to shower, use a volumizing shampoo. Skip conditioner if possible, otherwise, apply lightly to the ends.

Once your hair is 50% dry, apply a leave-in conditioner to the mid-ends of your hair.

Use a root-lifting mousse or spray on the roots of your hair. You can also apply to the ends if your hair doesn’t hold curl well.

Dry your hair upside down to dry the roots first and create more volume.
