Winter is coming… and @thebeautybyabigail is bringing in the ICE! ❄️ Protect and strengthen your tresses with #OLAPLEX to get to level 11 brightness! . Formula: I did a Combination of babylights and balayage all in foils. Starting from the back, I used Goldwell Silklift 20 volume for her regrowth and Silklift 20 volume + Olaplex for the previously lightened blonde. As I work my way up to the crown I switch the regrowth formula to 30 volume and keep the mids and ends at 20 volume with Olaplex. After everything is done processing I rinsed and towel dried her hair. For her shadow root I used Goldwell Colorance 8SB + 7NA. For mids and ends 10V + P mix. After 5 hours this was honestly one of the most challenging corrections I’ve done in a long time. The yellow wouldn’t budge with colour remover and I didn’t feel comfortable going in with lightener with the condition of the hair. Instead I decided if we couldn’t remove it we’d have to cancel it for this session and do another corrective session to get it where we want it to be. Though the top layer looks pretty good, there are still a few patchy spots throughout the underneath that I wasn’t able to fix this time.
