With Halloween quickly approaching, some of our costume ideas require a bold Halloween hair color change. Whether you’re interested in dressing up as Poison Ivy or Hailey Baldwin at the Met Gala, here are some simple (and temporary) ways you can switch up your hair color for Halloween:
Clip In Hair Extensions
Clip in Hair Extensions come in a variety of colors. Whether you’re looking for a bold statement color or want to add volume or length to your hair, they will work perfectly with your costume. Clip In Hair Extensions are great because you can style them like your natural hair. The best part is when the Halloween is over you can just unclip the hair extensions and you’re back to yourself!
Demi-Permanent Dye
If you’re interested in making your Halloween Hair last a little bit longer, we recommend trying out a demi-permanent hair color. They sell these in a variety of colors at every Beauty Supply store. Make sure you take care in washing your hair with these colors as they fade pretty quickly.
Color Hairspray
Every Halloween Store has a variety of color hairsprays. These are great for making your hair stay in place and will wash out immediately after the first wash.
Hair Chalk
Hair chalk is great for creating a lighter color in your hair. It’s super user-friendly and you don’t have to worry about your hair becoming matted or hard. Be careful when using this product as it may or may not rub off on your costume.
Hair Gel
This hair gel comes in a squeezable tube that is super easy for styling. They have a variety of different colors ranging from neon to matte shades. Hair Gel will dry hard but will wash out after the first use.
