If you’re on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen the latest trend to hit the hair industry; glitter roots. Even if you’re not in between root touch-ups, this look could be used to spice up your hair for Winter Formal or your company holiday party.
The look can be achieved by applying pomade or gel wherever you would like the glitter to stick. Make sure to sprinkle the glitter as close to the root as possible to avoid getting the glitter all over your head. You can also use a color brush and mixing bowl to apply the glitter in a more controlled way. Beware: you may not be able to remove all of the glitter after one shower, so plan accordingly if you have a job interview or other important event in the near future.
