I only ever used the tape in’s and only tried them on my best friend. She loved them while she was wearing them. I really didn’t like the method to take them out and retape. So we only used them one time.
Babe is my favorite tape in method brand they have a sewn in part on top of tape that keeps hair from shedding allowing you to reuse without the tape dissolving and ruining the extensions. They only have mainstream colors so not everyone can just buy and wear allot of tine you will hee awe ve to tone extensions after install to color match.
My stripper clients love it because it doesn’t glow strangely under black-lights. Decent quality, sturdy tape bonds. Original tapes are difficult to remove residue.
I’ve been using Babe Hair on our client’s for over 5 years and have not seen any other brand that has consistently meet the overall quality of Babe Hair. The reusability is undeniably one of the Best on the market. We’ve tried others and circled back to Babe. The length and Color selection has never been a problem for us. We’ve only had one price change since we started using Babe which was minimal. We specialize in Extensions at our salon and Babe Hair has consistently met our needs.
Love Babe hair! Only sold through professional distributors who offer education. Have found any other education quite like it! Loving the new express tape for shorter wear!!
I wholeheartedly disagree James. My clients prefer to buy their own hair and don’t mind paying top dollar to have it professionally installed. I still end up making the same amount whether or not I had purchased the hair for them and I don’t lose money if the client changes their mind. How does that hurt our business?
I used Babe tape in hair extensions for the first time. The tape part is the worst, it’s so sticky when you take them out. It leaves a sticky residue in your hair and the only way to get it out is to use oil. Then try getting the oil out of your hair. Hothead tape in extensions are by far better.
First time ever wearing this hair. Absolutely fantastic! So soft and silky and doesnt tangle (well atleast not yet) will have to give it more time but so far so good. curious if it really is Donna Bella does anyone know if thats in fact true or not? the colors are exactly the same. but Babe is quite a bit more expensive so would be good to know.
My experience was hit and miss with Babe, some good batches and some bad batches. May have continued to use them until I found out that they sell directly to the public when one of my new clients walked in with brand new hair asking for me to apply it. They are NOT a “Professional Only” brand and as an extension specialist that only colors and cuts for my extension clients I need a consistent quality professional only company that innnovates. Their main brand is called Donna Bella, which is the same hair just packaged under a different label. Buy selling to the public this company runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds which only hurts our in the industry and the stylist.
I have just recently started using babe hair and I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hair and its durability. My clients have been very pleased.

The new Express replacement tape doesn’t explain it’s for a shorter wear time 5 to 6 wks vs. 6 to 8 wks.
