We love showing you how to do simple five-minute hairstyles because most of the time we need to get out of the door and on with our day.  For days when you need to look put together quickly, look no further than the braided headband.  A classic look that only requires a few tools, you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

Get the Look: Braided Headband

Things you need:

• Two elastics
• Teasing comb
• Hairspray

Tips on how to get the look:

• The more hair you grab, the thicker the braid.
• Use the second braid to cover the elastic.

Step-by-step instructions:

#1 Grab a section of hair from behind your lower ear.

#2 Clip away hair on the other side so it is out of the way.

#3 Braid the section of hair (regular braid).

#4 Secure with a clear or black elastic (depending on the color of your hair)

#5 Pull on your braid to loosen it up.

#6 Repeat on the other side.

#7 Put your hair behind your back, leaving the two braids in front.

#8 Backcomb your hair for more volume.

#9 Take one braid and lay it over the top of your head and secure with a bobby pin.

#10 Repeat on the other side.

#11 Make sure to position the braid so it covers the other elastic.

#12 Hairspray to hold it in place.
