For $800 for a full head of sew ins, this brand is NOT worth it. Within 2 months, my hair has thinned out so much. I rarely use heat and if I do, I use a protectant. I used to use Cinderella hair for tape ins and that last wayyyy longer than this hair. I do not recommend you use this brand.
I am not one to leave bad reviews on anything because quiet frankly it seems like a waste of my time for a product that has already wasted my time and money but this one deserved a review to hopefully save someone from going through what I had to with something as fun and exciting as hair extensions. with that said, this is the WORST experience I could possibly have had with this company. I received the tape in 22inch extensions from this company and within less than 2 months, I had 15 inch hair extensions that were damaged, broken, dry, and hair was shedding. got in contact with the company through my hair stylist who applied these and they refunded me 500 out of the 1,000 dollars I had spent for these, not in money, but in a store credit. I thought why not give this another shot and try the company again. Went ahead and spent another 500 dollars with this company only to have the exact same result. I was very gentle when brushing the extensions, only washed them once a week if not less, never went swimming in a pool or in the lake/ocean with them, used a water filter for my shower head, used their brand shampoo and conditioner, used hair oil with no parabens in them every other night to keep them moisturized, never colored them, never used purple shampoo with them, used heat on them only once a week, slept with a silk pillow case with them in braids to ensure they were protected while I slept, did not use any unnecessary products on them, and STILL had horrendous results with them. At first, they looked great but after just one week and a wash, they looked like damaged, broken, and unhealthy, SHORT hair. It seriously looked as though I had gotten a perm and it went wrong. I would never in a million years recommend this product to anyone, and after this experience, neither does my stylist on a regular basis. I even considered taking them to small claims court to deal with this issue because of how much wasted money went into this brand and how poorly they handled the issue. I had to pay for my shipping of the original packages of hair extensions to be sent in to be looked at and to only get a “refund” which was truly a store credit and their way of getting a client to spend more money in their company. Me, being an optimist, gave into this but extremely regret my choice to do so. If you are debating about getting these extensions, DO NOT. PERIOD. This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with in my whole life and will not be shy to tell anyone my feelings toward this brand. I hope they can fix this because it is a shame how many people have invested into this company and how many bad reviews I have seen all over the internet and social media. You would think a company making this much money would value each and every customer, but clearly not. My money would have been better spent on hair growth products or ANY other hair extension brand. I think amazon hair extensions would have lasted me longer.
My first experience with hair extensions was for my son’s wedding. While I loved the color selection and length obviously cost was a bit prohibitive. The extensions lasted well and I was able to reuse them for over a year with careful care.
However, I have recently tried the AMPLIFY HAIR EXTENSIONS that are offered at my salon now. The difference is like night and day.
Installation was a breeze. The procedure for applying them much easier than Hairtalk. And immensely more comfortable. When you reuse extensions you carefully cared for for a year, the Hairtalk tapes become thick and and sticky.
The AMPLIFY extensions have a much better tape system that is easier to reposition if necessary during installation.
While the Hairtalk extensions worked well for me before (2019-2020) I will not ever buy them again. I suggest you do your research and look for the AMPLIFY products. They have great color choices and length. They will be less damaging to my fine hair and they are sooooo much more comfortable. I wish I could have said that Hairtalk was the choice for me. It is not.
AMPLIFY HAIR EXTENSIONS ONLY FOR ME! So happy to have been introduced to them by my salon. 💕💕💕 Thank you to the Tangles Salon staff!!
I had HairTalk hand tied 22 inch extensions installed and will never use this brand again. I do not leave reviews, but feel in this case I need to.
The hair is by far the worst hair quality I have ever had. I have been wearing extensions for over 7 years and have had a few “bad batches” but nothing like this. I thought that paying a higher price for this brand of hair, I would get better quality and longer wear time out of them. Day one I the hair was dry and brittle at the ends. The first time I washed my hair the hair dried with a natural curl to it. It looked like I had permed my hair. My hair is naturally straight hair. In order to get my hair straight, I had to use a straigener every day. The hair straight looked even worse as at least three inches of the hair looked dry and brittle. Within a month the hair had broken off and shed to the point that I lost almost two inches in length.
When I talked to customer service, they informed me that they knew that the hair had “body” to it and would have a natural curl. The hair came in the package straight. Obvious if I had wanted extensions with body waves, i would have ordered them that way. One month after paying $1,000 for the hair and 400.00 for the install, I replaced the hair with a different brand.
The Pros: Great color selection and good tape. The Cons: The hair quality is super inconsistent; one shipment good and the next bad for years now. I started with Hot Heads and this is the exact same product in a different box but for more money. The education and customer service is not the best; everything is always my fault?? The product is not really reusable as the panels break when your removing the tape which is why they say just place tape over tape; what a sticky thick mess! I’m over it.
Love love love this brand. I’ve been using hairtalk for a while now, and love their color selection, quality, variety of options, and how easy they are to remove. I highly recommend them!!

I love the hair color selection, would love to see a little higher quality of hair, seems like it’s hit or miss sometimes.

Love these – they look so natural – especially the color melts! I’ve been wearing them for years!
